I’m not going to lie, at first I was scared, shocked, confused. But after a while, a lot of things started to make sense.

All those times I felt like I’d gotten an electric shock, convincing myself it was just static electricity. The way lightning always made my skin tingle. And the fact that I’d pretty much given up watching TV because the reception around me was always terrible.

You’d think discovering something like that would be pressing enough to mention to my parents. My girlfriend. Someone.

But one careless slip of the chisel changed everything.

What if they already knew? Or worse… what if I was the only one who didn’t?

For now I just have to act normal, like myself.

Only problem is… I’m not sure what that looks like anymore.
