Here we go…

I want to write, I want to express my dismay, my outrage, my fear, my disbelief…. I could go on and on. But I don’t really need to say much, because we are all knee deep in it, American or not. It’s just a few days in and those of us that were anti are now being affirmed. We didn’t make a mistake, we saw with clear eyes and fearful hearts. There is no longer the guise or any semblance of leadership. Dictatorship will be the new normal. At this point it’s hard to tell which of the two are in charge. One is like an excited child who has control of the toy box and the other a vindictive, belligerent brat hellbent on revenge. Both drunk on power. Both giddy with anticipatory glee. Neither there for the honorable reasons. Add in their billionaire posse and it’s hard to dispute we are indeed in trouble. Oligarchy openly running the show, and as Elon has proven, there’s not much that money can’t buy.

Who would have thought Martin Niemöller’s poem would be again be do prevelant.

I shant bang on and on about it all, I won’t flood my blog with politics. I shall just tac on to this blog, because I know there will be many things that I will want to acknowledge…

There are obviously a lot of picture/memes doing the rounds that are untrue. I saw one, a plane full of immigrant men being removed from America. The true nature of the picture is neither here nor there, the concern was the comments. The filth, the racism, the lack of humanity is really sickening. How do people become so bitter, so full of vitriol? It’s disgusting.
