Keep it simple…

I’ve written blogs around this position. A lot of words in fact, to say what this quotes says, so concisely and so very simply.

When presented with the right information, my views are changeable. I look from a new frame of reference.

I don’t think this makes me fickle, it makes me fair-minded. Sure there are some things that I have rigid views on, but there are many on which I can be swayed. Things which I thought I had a solid grasp on, may not have been as black and white as I had first presumed.

If we’re not open to at least considering different perspectives and knowledge, we do ourselves a disservice. We limit our ability to continue to discover who we really are. It’s not about standing behind our convictions at any cost, it’s about knowing when to admit, there might be more to an initial view point.

If given the opportunity ego and pride will keep us rooted in our stubborness. That in itself is reason enough to atleast have an open conversation, even if it’s just with yourself.
