The Reply…

That’s a lovely idea in a world where everyone starts with the same health, safety, mobility, education, opportunity, and support.

But we don’t live in that world.

Some people ā€˜aren’t willing to work’ because they can’t… disability, chronic illness, trauma, homelessness, war, poverty, and generational disadvantage are real…Some people work harder than anyone you’ll ever meet and still can’t afford rent. Some children in third world countries work from the time they can walk and will never come close to the life we call ā€˜basic.’

Luck, circumstance, and access shape lives far more than effort alone.

So no, people don’t ā€˜get what they deserve.’

People get what society decides they’re worth.

And I believe food and shelter should be the bare minimum of human dignity, not a reward for perfect circumstances.

Honestly this type of ignorance hurts my heart, what is wrong with people šŸ˜•

Different day, same misogyny…

I recently posted this quote: ā€œThe test of misogyny is not whether you love your wife and daughters and care about their opportunities and welfare. The test is whether you care about the opportunities
