It’s not okay…

When we see high profile figures like Diddy or the President face serious allegations, ranging from assault to corruption, and either settle out of court, delay proceedings indefinitely, or get acquitted despite mounting evidence, it starts to feel like the whole justice system is just… performative. Like it’s there to look like accountability exists, but not to actually deliver it.
It raises hard questions. Is justice only for those without power or money?
What does ‘innocent until proven guilty’ even mean when trials are swayed by influence, media, or technicalities?
Are we watching justice unfold, or watching people play chess with it?
It looks like the system is riddled with loopholes, bias, power dynamics, and uneven access. People with wealth and power can buy top tier legal teams, influence public opinion, and drag things out until public interest fades. Meanwhile, everyday people are often crushed under the same system that’s supposed to protect them.
It’s disheartening. I don’t have a answers, but I just want to go on record as saying it’s not okay.
