My reply to a post I came accross today, where an author was explaining authentically how he felt about the current portrayl of the events unfolding in the world. It's just a pleasant change to read someone's words and not feel as though you are being schooled on how we should react.

It's a stark contrast to a lot of other influential people that are angryly, demanding we make a stand on our pages about the atrocities. Accusing us of not wanting to lose followers. I say us because I do fall into that category.

I've never cared about losing followes, unless they were long standing followers that I had inadvertantly offended.

I'm not shy in voicing my beliefs or giving my opinion if I think it's necessary or valid.

At this point in time I don't really feel that my input would be of any consequence.

I don't want to cause any more inner conflict for anyone, even on a facebook page.

I know I've blogged about these type of sentiments before, but they are a common constant.

It's coming to terms with the changes to what we once thought we knew. Turns out on some of those beliefs we had were just a false sense of security.

When you have that security taken away, you are on a new playing field, and this one seems to have no rules.

It's also difficult to weigh in on passionate subjects when there are so many half truths being presented. Unfortunately when some people are enraged, they latch onto what has been presented without due dilligence. When I see influential people doing that, I see it as inflicting more damage. I understand the need to feel like you are doing something, making a stand, but the reality is, a lot of people are doing nothing more than inciting a war of words. I don't see that as advocating in any way. It's adding fuel to the fire.

That's only my opinion though, because my reality is I have nothing constructive to offer. Maybe jumping up and down is just a way of dealing with what is hard to comprehend.

But when I do see words, that are eloquently delivered, they are a reminder that others are feeling the same way.

It's a reminder that impartial words can still deliver a strong message.
