I didn’t really know much about this man, but I don’t think death is a fair exchange for having different political views to someone else.
What I do know about this man is that he had two little children, who will now grow up without their daddy.
Apart from the obvious, there is something that really bothers me about his death. Why is there such a big deal made about the possibility that it was a trans person that assassinated him.
What difference does the orientation of a person make, murder is murder. But I do see the irony and what I just said.

The internet has been consumed these past few days with the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and he’s already being painted as a modern-day martyr. From what I’ve seen, I don’t believe that title fits. Yesterday I came across an interesting piece about him, author unknown, that summed up much of what I’ve observed. It captured the impression I’ve formed of who Charlie seemed to be, at least from what has surfaced online.

And as one of my favourite pages also said

The situation has become just another divisive agenda. But at the heart of it, the man didn’t deserve to be murdered, and two little children are still left without a daddy.
