Beautiful moment …

I needed to see this, I needed reminding of the tenderness that still exists in the world.

What a beautiful moment, a father receiving an uncontainable outburst of pride.

Forget about the event, the politics, and just see it for exactly what it is. A beautiful interaction that will become part of history.

If that child's reaction, hand on heart, pointing at his father, “I love you, thats my Dad” sobbing with admiration didn’t tug on your heart strings, I don’t know what to tell you.

It was such a pivotal message on so many levels. It encapsulated love, family, disability and authenticity.

Young men of today are exposed to so many toxic role models, hopefully Gus’s unbridled wholesome, spontaneous outpouring of pride will be seen with the positivity it deserves, rather than the usual vitriol we have become accustom to.
